How to write your story
If you want to tell us your story, hereunder you find the information to do so. Note that the stroy should reflect the “spirit” of a nofear traveling as it is explained in NoFear.it website. We kindly reccomend you to insert, at least, ten pictures/photos of good quality.

To register you should insert:
your username (nickname)Â that will be displayed when you write a post or a comment,
your email address, where you will receive the email message containing the password (that could be changed immediately afterwards) to logon the administration panel
accept the legal notes

Start simple!!!
- First insert a summary, or a short introduction.
- Insert a summary of your travel organizaed by leg stages.Â
- Insert your story text.
- Look at the stories already posted for ispiration/example.

If you have already prepared your text and you want to paste it
The safest way, in order to avoid unwanted outcomes, is to save your document as “text only” or “text without formatting”, wordprocessors often format documents with formatting instructions not accepted from webpages, specifically for Microsoft Word is available the command:

NO FEAR IT has already a style
As you can see, in the edit control panel, it is not available the command “Font”; font selection has been already done by us, it is the same all over the Nofear.it web and … we save yourself from tech explanations.
Do not change text colour, we prefer having a “standardised” website.
Use the command ”Format” to change Heading dimensions.

Hereunder some formats examples:

As you can see, Heading 1 generate a large white text, meanwhile Heading 2 generate a red text with a background image. If you want to put in evidence a chapter or a pargraph please use Heading 2 instead of Heading 1.
Insert images
Prior to start inserting images, prepare in advance your images.Â
Page width is fixed, it is useless inserting big images. We suggest you to save them with a maximum dimensions set at 600px for the widest side (height, if the photo is upright, widht, if horizontal) with a resolution of 72 dpi (dots per inches), corresponding to the windscreen resolution (greater resolutions do not offer better quality and increase ”weight”)

In Adobe Photoshop use “Save for Web and Devices” – JPEG high – optimized
Position the cursor where you want to insert the image alongside the text.
Use ”Add an Image” to insert your photos
(not to be mixed up with:Â
  Insert/Edit image)
From the the selecting panel, you could load all the images once.

Once you have loaded images, you could find them in the “Gallery” area.

By clicking on “Show” you could insert extra infos …

… and position image amid the article by selecting dimensions.
If you are not sure of having correctly sized the image, select Size “Medium”, you will obtain an image 600px max for the longest side (that fit perfectly in the page).
Size “Thumbnail” generate an image 250px max for the longest side.
Alignment specify the way text will be arranged ”around” the image.
Last but not least, banner/slideshow with tumbhnail rolling images will be inserted by us when you will inform us of having completed your story. In the linked slideshow, sub-title will be inherited from file name, so is highly reccomended to label the file with a significant name (please do not use generic name like “image1.jpg”); this naming activity must be held before loading the images.
How to insert GoogleMaps maps
Hereunder you can find instructions on how to create your personalised map with Google:

Once you have completed the creation of your map, click on “View in Google Earth”, it should begin a file download with extension .kml, in case download does not start immediately, right-click on it and select “Download Linked File”.

Load the file obtained from Google by using the command Add Media …

… and insert it in the post.
